Westside Running Group

meetup.com, 2010 Client: Personal Project This is a running group that I started back in July of 2010. Initially, it was for my own selfish reasons, so I could have people to train with and so I could have a group of friends that went to week-end races together. It ended up becoming a real community service to other runners in the area. People receive encouragement and share ideas and running information freely. Several people thanked me for starting the group, telling me what a big part of their lives it had become. I’m so glad I made the decision, and put forth the effort to pursue something so worthwhile and meaningful to others. Like I said before it was pretty selfish, but then I don’t know if there really “is” any true self-less acts. We as people GET so much more when we give to others. Role: Design, Custom Graphics, Custom Logo Design
